49 years ago in Las Vegas, Steve asked me to marry him. I said, "Can I get back to you"? I did, and I said "Yes, Yes, Yes"! He sent a car for me but fortunately I got out of the way Just in time.

On December 29th, 1957, We were married at The 'El Rancho Vegas Hotel' at 12 o'clock noon…
Because as Steve said: "If it doesn't work out… We don't want to blow the rest of the day".

In reality, to quote 'Charles Dickens'
"It was the best of times It was the worst of times"

And to para phrase 'Johnny Burke and Jimmy Van Heusen'…
Love is funny or it's sad
It's a good thing or it's bad
